When we walked in, all the tables were full of dirty dishes. The service was the gutter. When I received my food I was given no silverware. Any time I asked for items I needed I was given attitude by the waitresses. Worst waffle house I have ever been to.

When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess The restaurant was clean. The waitresses provided good service and were were very a tentative. I would eat there again.

Ate for late breakfast before leaving to the field at jet blue. Very busy with a few people waiting but the turn around was fast enough we didn't wait long. Greeted and served right away. Food was good and fresh.

I usually go here on some weekend mornings, or really late at night if I'm just getting back into town after a trip. The service is usually pretty quick here, and the people are friendly. I have been in before when it was full of northerners and ended up just walking out because it was so crowded and I had waited there 10-15 minutes without anyone even knowing I was there. That's only happened once though. I really don't know how any Waffle House passes health inspections, but I for some reason, I still love to go to them and eating the food. I don't know what it is. It's just good breakfast food! This is a typical Waffle House and I'll continue to be a customer.

It' Waffle House! Great waffles, great breakfast. However, just where in the heck do they find their employees? Great workers but a tad scary looking, but as nice as a waffle can be. The clientele are just the topping for a great breakfast experience. When we are in Ft. myers, we try to make at least one visit. I'm still trying to learn all of the terms, "scattered, chopped, smothered, diced, covered..." Great place in all regards

I love this place. I know it's just another Waffle House, and it is often crowded and you have to wait a bit to get a seat, but you can always count of the food to be slightly above average. The noise level is high, but that's half the fun listening to the orders being relayed from the waitperson to the cook at the stove. The trademark waffle with pecans is always nice although the chef often tosses all the pecans into the middle of the waffle rather than distributing them homogeneously through the waffle itself, but, you know?, I think I can live with that! Nevertheless this place is always a treat and easy on the budget.

Here is my 2 cents on the food. WOW every time I have gone here the food is fantastic. I always get a waffles. They are crispy and hot. Waffle House , people get the waffles. The cook always does my eggs right, over easy. The 9 variation of hashbrowns. I get the standard potaoes, always great .Coffee is good.BUT the cups are TOO small...too many refills adding cream and sugar too many times ;(~~~ Anyway the food has always been done to my great satisfaction. Now chit chat. We were there on a Thursday, 1120 am. WOW crowded. But did get a table. Christy(? )was a outstanding server. She was fast, helpful, and attentive. 15 minutes later the rush of people were gone. (thank you) ...The staff were great cleaning and shining up the place. I love coming here, but too bad they are 11 miles from crib. Good thing I guess , I would get fat on waffles & bacon otherwise. When in the area or passing on the 75 stop in here. Please!!!!!

Whomever runs the HR department at Waffle House deserves some sort of award. I was greeted by someone behind the counter when I walked in, and they proceeded to do this for everyone else. My server was friendly. This is my major takeaway. Two gripes: Firstly, the coffee I wanted was available so they had to brew it fresh. It took a long time so I reminded someone (I think they forgot); Secondly, there are two menus and I wasn't presented both initially. I should have asked someone because the smaller menu felt limited, but I ordered off of it anyway. The larger menu offers deals on extra waffles and had a Dollar menu. Why would you steer people away from this? Just have one menu. Sorry, I think it's dumb. It had been a long time since I'd been to a waffle house but someday I'll go back. The waffles are pretty darn tasty after all.

1 am chocolate chip pancakes are great. Especially when you've had a couple to drink. Normally I wouldn't rate a Waffle House so high but I really liked our 2 waitresses. They were very funny and very nice. The decor was a typical Waffle House and the menu has just what you need when you're needing some munchies from a night of drinking. The hash browns are probably the best thing on the menu.

One of the best run waffle houses I have ever been in. The manager is out on the floor seating customers and cleaning tables. The waitresses greet you with a smile. Absolute superb service!

Small. Great service. Chicken & Waffles are delicious, as are the cheesy potatoes. Definitely a fan!!

I mean, the food was mediocre. You know, it being a waffle house. But the service was very good, at least considering WH pish posh repute.

Manager seated us immediately. Yummy waffles. Excellent hash browns. Husband loved his Philly beef something sandwich. My son said it was the best bacon he ever tasted!!! Coffee is good and refilled promptly.

No better cap to a 5am flight from BOS to RSW, than this first sign of extraterminal "humanity," the Awful Waffle. Truth be told, once past the buzzcut manager who politely requests you stay single file in the line of waiting chairs (yes, there is a wait) and the tongue-in-cheekery that's preserved last night's party contents since 1955, you will acknowledge two very important truths: 1) It's practically impossible to spend more than $7 on a meal here. 2) The sole cook as yet to fail the over medium egg test. Two, three or a Gaston portion of ova, they will boast perfectly solid albumen and runny yolks. No gelatinous skin hanging around, primed to sog your toast or worse, slide through the tines of your fork en route to the boca. Appetite killa. So while it's definitely patronized (tolerated?) more so when you're pleasantly tipsy, the simple, fast and cheap breakfasts at the Awful Waffle are entirely undeserving of the poetic nickname. Pro tip: play the original Waffle House songs on the jukebox. If "They're Cooking Up My Order" by Alfreda Gerald doesn't get your steadily-expanding ass moving, NOTHING WILL.

Party of two, we were seated right away. Food took roughly 15 minutes, everything was good. Waitress seemed to be hurried, and we were serviced by a different waitress.

Only second time going to one of these, the first as an adult. Tasty waffles! I'm guessing this is the southern equivalent to IHOP in the Chicago area. Food came fast, server was very friendly. It was around Christmas time so the Burl Ives was blasting a bit too much to have a conversation, but overall a pleasent experience. And if you go to a Waffle House and don't order waffles, you're silly. It's WAFFLE House. Get what you came for!

I love the waffle house, now only if they could make it into the Northeast! Standard run of the mill waffle house, with good service and a dirty kitchen, however who cares! The waffle and hashbrowns...oh yes baby. Just good food, cheap.

Waffle House! Or as my wife calls it "Awful House" (grew up in the northeast). Living down south, you can't take a road trip without passing one at every exit, from Beaumont to Jacksonville. I think I've eaten at every one of them. Fast friendly service, hot food (don't know how the cook remembers all the orders shouted at him) the way you ordered it. My daughter and I go there often. They do need to branch out to the northeast and west, though. Denny's just isn't the same thing.

Heard a cook on the grill say "5 second rule". Welcome to Waffle House, where the employees are under paid and under privileged, and the customers are never under weight. If you are in Fort Myers, and want the BEST breakfast, try "Crave". Or better yet, use Yelp, and search nearby breakfast, use the filter, and use the highest rated category. You will never find yourself eating factory farm food again.

I don't expect fantastic food at Waffle house, but I expect fast and friendly service, this was not the case at this location. I am generally a fan of Waffle house. Always good for a waffle and some scattered hash browns. The food was OK as this location but the service was slow (very slow) and not particularly courteous. Maybe it was just a bad day, but there are plently more Waffle Houses in the sea.

grease city. ten people working no one took our check till I yelled over the din. $17.50 for two. Waffle was a pancake with chocolate chips and grease on top. Biscuit must have fallen in the fat fryer. Look out!

Horrible food.. Small place.. Only plus was fast service. The AC was leaking in the middle of the restaurant which caused a puddle on the floor. We chose our own table when we walked in and the first two booths were dirty so we went to the last one thinking it was clean but then without realizing I was sitting next to sticky syrup on the booth seat. Thank goodness I didn't sit in it, I was wearing a white dress!! All in all we were visiting and I'm definitely not ever returning. I'd rather a Denny's or mom and pop place than come here it was nasty.

This Waffle House location is like most others. Cheap and fast breakfast food in a predicable Southern fashion. The service was good but rushed, we were seated quickly by man expediting the long line of Sunday diners. The food was worse than I remembered it, eggs were oily and the hash browns lacking in substance (I had them covered and peppered). I will probably choose another chain next time I am hankering for diner food... or heck, I'll look for the nearest diner!

Holy CRAP that place is busy on a Sunday morning. There are Waffle Houses and Dennys' galore all over the place, but for some reason, the population of Ft. Myers, FL, decided to converge on this particular Waffle House this morning. After the looooooong wait for a table, we were served basic breakfast fare, and a soggy waffle. This isn't a complaint, I was really excited to experience my first Waffle House. The coffee is unfortunate, though. It doesn't matter how much the manager insisted that pot wasn't decaf. I drank two cups of it (following the cup I'd had at my hotel in the morning), and still needed a nap on my flight home.

I love this place, it nearly saved my life (not really). I hadn't eaten anything since 5pm and it was 5:30am after a day/night of wildness and drinking (god spring break is awesome). So, me and a friend stopped by waffle house at 5:30am and had the best meal anyone could ask for. We had the full on breakfast which was so scrumptious it included waffles, scrambled eggs, toast(with some melted butter), hash browns, and ham. Great fast service, and it was only $20 for all that food for 2 people! It's also really nice seeing them make the food in front of you. Awesome experience, we left with our stomachs real happy.. perfect ending to a wild night.
